Accomodation

Heerlen is a small city of ~90 000 inhabitants. Most places can be reached by walking. You can also take a public bus to your accommodation.
You better leave the station via the front side if you want to walk to your accommodation or to the university. Coming by bus, cross the railway station.

LUDI has negotiated about prices for accommodation for participants for Training School

  • Natuurvriendenhuis Eikhold

This is a hostel with cooking and living room facilities, shared bathrooms, nice garden. You can bring towels and bed sheets with you or rent them. This facility is 10-minute walk from the University.

A special price for LUDI Trainees has been negotiated:  20€ plus 1.25€ tourist tax per person per night. Most rooms are for 2 persons; if you want a private room, 25% extra will be charged. Renting bed sheets: 6€, renting towels: 1€. You can register for this accommodation writing to Mrs Diana Snijders (eikhold@nivon.nl). Do mention: Zuyd Hogeschool – LUDI .

In city centre of Heerlen. This is a 20-minute walk from Zuyd University. You can also take a city bus to get there.

A single room (small room with 90cm bed, if you want to work the table is rather small, bathroom with shower) = 61,50€ including breakfast for 1 person. A double room with two single beds, to be used by 1 person, is available for 71,50€ including breakfast for 1 person. Extra costs 1,25€ tourist tax per night per person.
